Dear Customer,

After a long period of price stability, the refrigerant producers have begun to raise the refrigerant prices for 2021. The main reason for this is that the next F-Gas phase down step takes the producers quota allowance of CO2 equivalent tonnes down to just 45% of the 2015 baseline which is a further significant decrease on the 2020 level. This reduction puts the continued greater emphasis on the need to move to lower GWP refrigerants thus using less CO2 equivalent tonnes. Increased raw material and handling costs have also been referenced.

The increases below will apply from Monday 1st March 2021.

HFO Blends: R448A, R449A, R513A and R452A HFC R32 10%

HFC’s: R134a, R407A/C/F, R410A 15%

R404A/R404A-R 15%

There are no increases on the low GWP refrigerants which we stock such as R1234yf, R1234ze, R454A, R454B, R454C, R455A.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your continued support and for your business.

Yours sincerely

David Marshall
